Characteristics

Florfenicol is a broad spectrum antibiotic that has activity against many bacteria. It acts by binding to the 50S ribosome, thereby inhibiting bacterials protein synthesis.

Composition

•  Prevention and treatment against the respiratory diseases and dysentery.
•  Treatment of many diseases susceptible to this product.
  - Chicken : Respiratory and alimentary diseases caused by E. coli in broiler, E. coli enteritis, septicemia, Dual infection by Pasteurella multocida and E. coli (CRD, Coryza), Salmonellosis (Fowl typhoid, Fowl paratyphoid).
  - Pig : Pleuropneumonia, Pasteurella pneumonia, Mycoplasma pneumonia, Salmonellosis, Streptococcosis.

Dosage & User

•  Chicken : Administrate 0.1ml of product per 1kg b.w. in drinking water for 5 days.

1. Broiler

2. Layer

•  Pig : Administrate 0.5ml of product per 10kg b.w. in drinking water for 5 days.

 Cautions

1) Store at room temperature (2~25℃) under air-tight closure. Protect from direct sunlight.
2) Valid for 24 months from manufacturing date.
3) Withdrawal period : 5 days in chicken, 3 days in pig
4) If medicated consecutively, it may cause temporary inflammations in cloaca.
5) Do not administrate to the chickens during laying period.
6) Use under constructions of your veterinarian.
7) Strictly follow the withdrawal period.
8) Follow the recommendations.
9) Use only to the species recommended.
10) If in abuse/overuse, it can be residual in animal products.
11) Keep out of children’s reach.
